Can you fit a safari and a beach holiday into 12 days? Yes. You spend six days on safari in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.
Then you fly to Zanzibar for six days of beach time, Stone Town and spice farms. It works well for couples, families and honeymooners.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrive in Arusha
You arrive in Arusha and settle in before the safari starts.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Go on a game drive in the park.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Spend the day on a game drive in the park.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Spend a full day on the crater floor.
Day 5: To the Serengeti
You transfer to the Serengeti and go on a game drive in the afternoon.
Day 6: A full day in the Serengeti
Spend the whole day in the park.
Day 7: To Zanzibar
Go on a morning game drive, then fly to the island.
Day 8: Beach day
Rest on the beach, or add an optional spice tour.
Day 9: Stone Town
Take a tour of the old town and join a cultural experience.
Day 10: Free day
Spend the day on the beach, or go diving or snorkelling.
Day 11: Optional excursion
Choose a dolphin tour or a visit to Jozani Forest.
Day 12: Departure
We transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your international flight.
