1. Booking and payment

Payment terms, deposits, cancellation windows and refund conditions are set out in your booking documents and invoice. A booking is confirmed only when the required payment has been received.

Prices are quoted in the currency shown on your invoice. Bank charges, currency conversion fees and international transaction fees are the client’s responsibility.

2. Travel documents

Travellers must hold valid passports, visas, health documents and travel insurance. Ateker Safaris is not liable for costs or problems caused by incomplete documentation.

3. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is required for the full duration of the trip. It should cover cancellation, medical costs and emergency evacuation.

4. Liability

Ateker Safaris acts as an intermediary between the traveller and the lodges, parks, transport providers and guides that deliver the trip. We are not responsible for delays, injury, loss or damage arising from events beyond our control.

5. Health and safety

Travellers must disclose relevant medical conditions and follow safety instructions during activities. Some destinations require vaccinations or preventative medication; check the current requirements for Uganda before you travel.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the jurisdiction agreed in the booking documents.
