Do you want to see all of northern Tanzania? This is the full circuit. It covers every major northern park except Kilimanjaro.
It also adds Mkomazi, Lake Eyasi and Lake Natron, which many itineraries leave out. You spend time with the Hadzabe and Datoga peoples, and see flamingos beneath a volcano.
It suits wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and adventurous travellers who are happy with long days in a 4x4.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro
We transfer you to Moshi.
Day 2: Mkomazi National Park
Go on a game drive in the park.
Day 3: To Arusha National Park
Take a morning game drive in Mkomazi, then transfer onward.
Day 4: Tarangire National Park
You drive to Tarangire and go on a game drive in the afternoon.
Day 5: Lake Eyasi
You transfer to Lake Eyasi and visit the Datoga people.
Day 6: Hunting with the Hadzabe
In the morning you join the Hadzabe. Then you drive to Karatu.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Spend a full day on the crater floor.
Day 8: To Ndutu
The transfer to Ndutu is scenic. You can add a Maasai visit if you want to.
Day 9: Ndutu to the central Serengeti
Go on a game drive in Ndutu, then drive on to the central Serengeti.
Day 10: Seronera
Spend a full day on game drives.
Day 11: To Lobo
You start with a morning safari and visit the Serengeti Migration Centre. Then you drive to Lobo.
Day 12: To Lake Natron
Go on a game drive at Lobo, then drive to Lake Natron and walk to a waterfall.
Day 13: Lake Natron, then Lake Manyara
Spend the morning at Natron or visit a Maasai community. Then you drive to Lake Manyara and go on a game drive.
Day 14: Departure
You visit Mto wa Mbu village, then transfer to Arusha and the airport.
