About this safari
The route is close to our Kenya Safari and Beach tour. The difference is where you sleep and how you eat.
You stay in carefully chosen lodges and camps, eat on a full-board basis the whole way, and finish at a boutique hotel on Diani Beach. The tour is private, with your own vehicle and guide.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
You spend the night at Hemingways Nairobi.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha
After a scenic transfer, take a boat cruise on the lake and visit Crescent Island. You stay at Chui Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru
Go on a game drive to look for flamingos and rhinos. You stay at The Cliff.
Day 4: To the Maasai Mara
You travel to the Mara and go out on a game drive in the evening.
Day 5: A full day in the Mara
This is your best day for a chance at the Big Five.
Day 6: The Mara again
Go on another game drive, or choose an optional activity.
Day 7: To Amboseli
You travel to Amboseli and check in at Tortilis Camp.
Day 8: A full day in Amboseli
Game drives today have Kilimanjaro in view.
Day 9: To Tsavo East
In the afternoon, head out on a game drive from Satao Camp.
Day 10: Tsavo East, then Diani Beach
Begin with a morning safari. After that, we transfer you to Almanara Boutique Hotel.
Day 11: Beach day
Relax, or try optional water sports and cultural activities.
Day 12: Departure
We take you to Mombasa or Ukunda airport.
