Walking
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is the closest savannah park to Kampala, on the road to Mbarara. It is small, and one of the few parks in Uganda where you can walk or cycle among wildlife with a ranger.
Zebra, giraffe, buffalo and impala are common; the lake holds hippos and crocodiles. A boat ride and a guided walking safari are the usual way to see it.
