Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park runs along the Rift Valley floor in western Uganda, between Lake George and Lake Edward. The Kazinga Channel connects the two lakes and holds large numbers of hippos and waterbirds.
Game drives run on the Kasenyi plains and in the Ishasha sector, where lions rest in fig trees. Boat cruises on the channel pass elephants and buffalo, and the crater lakes around Katwe are a short detour.
