Kidepo Valley National Park
Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the north-east, between South Sudan and Kenya. The drive from Kampala is long, which keeps visitor numbers low.
The Narus Valley holds most of the wildlife in the dry season: elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and lions, with cheetah and leopard seen less often. The park is also home to Karamojong communities and their cattle.
